When will my gopher problem be gone?

Our goal is to create a population collapse where there are not enough adult rodents remaining to reproduce and repopulate the area. We accomplish this by monitoring activity and responding to new burrows before the population has the opportunity to reestablish itself.

Because ground squirrels and other burrowing rodents are highly active throughout the region, it is not always possible to permanently eliminate every rodent in surrounding areas. However, with periodic maintenance service, we can keep activity on your property reduced to a minimal and manageable level.

Is it humane?

Yes. The treatment method we use allows the rodents to quickly fall asleep and pass within a few minutes. This process is widely considered one of the most humane and effective approaches for managing burrowing rodent populations.

Is the treatment safe for pets?

Yes. Rodents expire within their burrow systems and are rarely seen again after treatment. In the event that a pet or wild animal were to encounter a treated rodent, the carbon monoxide used during treatment dissipates quickly and does not remain in the animal’s body, making it safe for surrounding wildlife and pets.

How much does gopher control cost?

The cost of service depends on several factors, including the size of your property, the severity of the infestation, and how long you wish to maintain rodent control.

Services are typically billed on an hourly basis, and the total time required can vary greatly depending on the property. A smaller residential yard may require approximately one hour, while a large ranch, vineyard, or estate may require significantly more time. We are happy to assess your property and provide an estimate at no cost.

How many visits will my property need?

We recommend ongoing service to prevent reinfestation and keep burrowing rodent populations under control. Much like routine landscaping or property maintenance, regular monitoring and treatment are the most effective and cost efficient way to manage rodent activity.

Scheduled maintenance visits are typically far more economical than waiting for a population to become fully reestablished and require larger scale treatment again.
